Lion’s Roar, North America’s largest publisher of Buddhist content, offers an excellent work opportunity for a 15 to 30-year-old wanting to plug into the world of digital publishing this summer. The successful candidate will apply their skills, knowledge, and interest to our continuously growing online presence.

What will I be doing? 

Assist in managing and updating our WordPress website.

Publish and format articles, images, and multimedia content.

Collaborate with the editorial team to produce high-quality written content.

Conduct research and fact-checking for articles.

Optimize web content for SEO and user engagement.

Help with social media management and digital marketing efforts.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and editorial meetings.

What do I need in order to do the job? 

Familiarity with WordPress and web publishing technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).

Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to create engaging and informative content.

Basic understanding of SEO principles.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Previous experience in copywriting or web publishing is a plus
