I truly believe that gratitude practices have been incredibly beneficial for me. They have helped me focus on the positive, appreciate the good things in my life, and maintain a hopeful outlook even during challenging times.
One of the greatest gifts, aside from your support, has been the encouragement and motivation from others. God has truly blessed me by using these individuals to remind me to keep learning and striving for my goals. I vividly remember my visit to Ma’am Reyes’ office. Her words resonated deeply with me. She emphasized how difficult the board exam is and urged me to study diligently to ensure success. Her encouragement gave me a powerful boost.
I am also incredibly grateful to Mam Jerica for her kindness and unwavering support. Every time she sees me, she reminds me to study hard with her characteristic energy, “Hoy, magreview baya ha!” I am determined to repay her kindness by passing the exam. Ate Sarah’s encouraging words, “If you really want it, you need to put in the effort, study hard,” and her belief in me, “You can do it, Shen,” helped me more than she knows. Mam Ar’s consideration and kind words, “You’ll pass, no doubt,” have always been a source of motivation. I am grateful for Kuya Vincent’s constant support, for Jasz’s unwavering presence during my lowest moments, for Ate Chin’s belief in my abilities, and for Zyrine’s confident affirmation that I would pass the exam as a birthday gift to her. These are all gifts I cherish deeply.
I am also deeply grateful to the Snowhite Laundry Shop owner, especially Mam Neris, for her continued kindness and support even after I left. Her warmth and unwavering belief in me mean the world to me. And thank you to Sir Ming for always being so kind.
