It was in 2018 when I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Hearing those words put my life into perspective.
By 2019, I had reached a very dark place in my life. I didn’t like who I was becoming or what I was allowing into my life. That was when I decided it was time to make a change, to find a therapist, reclaim my peace, and learn how to embrace happiness again. I wanted to appreciate the small things once more.
In January 2023, I was browsing the Play Store looking for a good gratitude app. That was when I found The Gratitude App. I’m not saying it completely replaced my morning journaling routine, but I did start using it more than my physical journal on many days.
This app has brought so much clarity to my life. Gratitude has become my favorite mindfulness practice, and this app was the perfect addition to it, the icing on the cupcake!
I’m forever grateful that I took the step to heal. It led me to this beautiful practice, and it showed me this app. 🖤
